Life is not a simple,
straight road.

It can be joyous one moment and the next full of chaos. How we react to these obstacles directly impacts which path we ultimately choose to take. We all have the power to change and hold the knowledge and drive within ourselves.

“Our role as your therapist is to help you identify the areas of your life you want to make positive changes in and help facilitate growth.”

Lindsey works from a person centered approach which is a nondirective, empathic approach that empowers and motivates the client in the therapeutic process. Rather than viewing people as inherently flawed, with problematic behaviors and thoughts that require treatment, person-centered therapy identifies that each person has the capacity and desire for personal growth and change.

“Individuals have within themselves vast resources for self-understanding and for altering their self-concepts, basic attitudes, and self-directed behavior; these resources can be tapped if a definable climate of facilitative psychological attitudes can be provided.”-Carl Rogers

Life is not a simple, straight rode.

There are winds and curves that can leave us feeling battered, bruised, and wondering if we are strong enough to overcome it all.

In the midst of chaos, it can be hard to stay above water. You do not have to navigate the waters on your own. Lindsey Gipson, MS LPC is a clinical mental health therapist who practices from a person centered approach to counseling. She meets you where you are and work together to find the best treatment to fit your needs.

“Love has an immense ability to help heal the devastating wounds that life sometimes deals us.”
